A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I went to Florida to visit my family, who live not to far from Walt Disney World. So, of course I had to take the opportunity to visit my favorite magical land. We only had time to spend one day at the parks and chose to run around Epcot + the Magic Kingdoom. Even with park hopper passes (which I highly recommend), it’s impossible to visit all 4 parks in one day and still be able to fully enjoy the day. I wanted to make the most of our time so we woke early and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast complete with Mickey waffles outside on the Boardwalk at Trattoria al Forna. From there we walked to the back Entrance of Epcot near the world showcase starting in my favorite ‘Mini Paris,’ the French Pavilion. All around the park were beautiful topiaries of Disney characters and princesses for the Epcot Flower + Garden Festival. Hope you enjoy a tour of our day…
Morocco, one of my favorite countries featured in the World Pavilion
Next we made our way to the Magic Kingdom. Isn’t Main Street USA SO Cute!!
Carousel of Progress ◊ Our pretty view from lunch at Columbia Harbour House
Rapunzel’s Tower ◊ Taking a tour on the Liberty Square Riverboat Cruise
The Country Bear Jamboree (A Classic that I hope never closes)
Quick ride on the Monorail back to Epcot for a perfect Parisian dinner at Chefs de France Return to Magic Kingdom for fireworks & late night rides
Since we stayed at a Disney hotel, we took advantage of the ‘Magic Hours,’ where each day one or two of the parks open early or stay open later for hotel guests. Magic Kingdom till 1am was beyond fun. We ended the night relaxing on the People Mover in Tomorrowland and hopped on multiple times in a row, enjoying the cool night breeze. After 15 magical hours our Disney day was complete. Stay tuned, I’ll be posting additional photos of the beautiful topiaries at the Epcot Flower + Garden festival.
xx Angie
