When I shared in a previous post about our visit to Provence Poiriers, I left out one of my favorite parts of the property; which was the POOL. Our vacation took place at the end of September which seemed like the perfect time to go. The villages were far less crowded without summer tourists but weather was still warm enough for us to enjoy the Provencal sunshine. The best part of the day was enjoying some R+R with a dip in the pool. It was a wonderful afternoon accompanied by a great book, Julia Child’s memoir, and a light Provencal rosé wine.
