Hotel Bienvenue Paris

For our recent trip to Paris this past October, we booked a room at the Hotel Bienvenue, a boutique hotel in the uber-cool area of South Pigalle (9th Arrondissement). The well designed hotel was lovely and featured jewel toned velvet furniture with fantastic pops of floral decor throughout the lobby, restaurant and rooms. With a few Metro lines close-by and easy access for uber and taxis, the Hotel Bienvenue is an intimate gem of a hotel that is also in a great location of Paris. It’s even right down the block from one of my favorite Parisienne streets, Rue Martyrs, full of dozens of gourmet shops and patisseries.

Our room was on the third floor with a large window and view overlooking the hotel garden terrace. It was so nice (and quiet) to have open each morning. While small ,as most Paris hotel rooms are, it was still larger than many that I’ve stayed in and featured plenty of room to move around. They made a smart use of the space with well designed furniture and nooks and crannies around the room to hold our things and luggage. The pastel hues made the room feel extra airy; which is what you want your room to feel like especially when on vacation. Keeping with the floral theme, the bathrooms feature Bonne Nouvelle products, a plant based beauty line of shampoo, lotion and soaps.

One of my favorite parts about staying at Hotel Bienvenue was the continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant; which in itself was so pretty and a relaxing way to start a busy day of exploring Paris. Serve yourself an assortment of fresh juices, coffee and tea and then check out the delicious options to choose from ~ freshly baked croissants and Bonne Maman Jams, assorted breads with ham and cheese, fresh fruit and yogurt to make your own parfait and more. We enjoyed the breakfast all 3 mornings of our stay and I loved being introduced to a new free-trade and organic tea brand, Paper + Tea. Reservations are suggested if you’d like to dine for dinner and I’ve heard great things about the eclectic menu. It was unfortunately raining our mornings at the hotel so we weren’t able to enjoy dining in the garden terrace but as you can see it looks like the perfect spot for breakfast, afternoon coffee or a glass of wine. I hope to enjoy it on our next stay.

Other details to note about Hotel Bienvenue – They offer free wi-fi in your room, a helpful front desk staff and a small 2 person elevator. If you’re not transporting your luggage you can also use the spiral staircase but YAY, a hotel in Paris with an elevator! I can’t wait to stay again!
