At the end of September, we took our first trip to Provence which I had been dying to visit for many, many years. It was definitely a dream vacation and I look forward to sharing more of the trip including our favorite villages and places to eat and shop in upcoming posts.
Our first stop was a visit to Provence Poiriers, a beautifully renovated 18th century farmhouse located just outside of Avignon. The house is absolutely magical and available for holiday rentals and select special events planned by Matthew Robbins and his amazing team. Provence Poiriers is also a must follow on Instagram. As we toured the home and grounds of the property we could tell how much time and thought the owners put into the renovation and decor. They poured their heart and soul into every nook + cranny of the house and gardens. I hope you enjoy this little tour of Provence Paradise.
The below Chambre Master with adjoining bath and stunning views of the back gardens is breathtaking. Throughout the house you’ll see beautiful Pierre Frey fabrics and the most unique antique furniture. Bravo to the family for curating such a lovely mix of furniture and artwork throughout the house.
If I had to choose, I think the below Chambre Fontaine is my favorite bedroom. I imagined Marie Antoinette waking up in the canopy bed while visiting for her own Provencal holiday.
There are so many cozy areas to relax and enjoy the Provence sunshine. We enjoyed a crisp Provencal white wine and afternoon snack of farm fresh burrata, tomatoes and goat cheese crostini. Merci beaucoup for the amazing visit. Can’t wait to share more from our trip. Coming soon!!
xx, Angie
