One night at Le Meridien Philadelphia

My boyfriend and I recently went to Philadelphia for a night over Labor Day Weekend.  It was a fun trip, about 2 hours by bus and we were very lucky to not have any traffic in either direction.  We took the Bolt Bus which is a great price and has free wifi.  I recommend buying your tickets in advance as many of the people who were there to ride standby didn’t get a seat on the bus & had to wait 2 hours for the next one.  We stayed at the lovely Le Meridien Philadelphia; which felt like a little bit of Paris in Philly.  Check out our incredible view overlooking the stunning City Hall in the morning and further down an image at sunset!  And the lobby which I someday aspire to copy for my living room decor.

I highly recommend staying at the Le Meridien Hotel & ordering the Eclairs (from pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini) for room service!  We also enjoyed dinner at their restaurant, AMUSE featuring French brasserie favorites like French Onion Soup.  More to come on our trip later this week!

I’m glad you had a good time in Philadelphia! It’s a great place to call home : ) What were your favorite spots? The Meredian is definitely a nice hotel – I also love their interior design!

Hi Chaucer! I just put up a post with some of my favorite spots on our trip. I loved Shane’s Confectionery and Reading Terminal. Have a great day!
