Streets Signs of Paris

I love wandering around Paris and coming across fun street names.  Like Monsieur or Dauphine and also ones named after some of my favorite historical Parisians like Rue de Sévigné named after the Madame de Sévigné, who lived nearby at the Musee de Carnavalet.  Madame de Sévigné was an incredible letter writer {and town gossip} in the mid-late 1600’s and I highly recommend her book, The Letters of Madame de Sévigné.  It’s like reading Gossip Girl but from the 17th Century.  Here are a few fun names that I spotted on my most recent trip to Paris….

This last one reminded me of my friend Christine.  Which street in Paris would you like to call home?
