When I visited Paris in early spring, I had the pleasure of staying my last night at what is now my favorite affordable hotel in Paris, the Hôtel Caron de Beaumarchais. Located in the heart of the Marais, this boutique hotel is a true gem and I can’t wait to stay here again. You’ll travel back in time to the art de vivre of the 18th Century when refined and elegant living reigned supreme. The rooms are stunning and such a comfortable size, which is a nice surprise considering most Paris hotels have tiny tiny rooms. The bathrooms are decorated blue and white with hand painted tiles and Annick Goutal bath products. The closet space is also surprisingly spacious as you can see in my images below. One of the best conveniences to mention are the little bedside cubbies with space and outlets that will charge your phone while you sleep. I recommend staying at a time when you have extra free time to just relax and enjoy your room. Sleep in, order breakfast in bed and take a nice long bath.
Upon arrival, you can order your breakfast for the next morning to either enjoy in the comfort of your room or the lovely breakfast room located one floor below the lobby. (more on that in an upcoming post) For only 13 euro per person, you’ll receive a delicious tray overflowing with goodies. Enjoy a fresh Croissant, baguette and chocolate croissant with an assortment of jam and butter, fresh orange juice, a boiled egg, coffee, Mariage Freres tea or hot chocolate, yogurt and more.
A few of the rooms even have lovely little balconies. You can enjoy your breakfast or an evening glass of wine with a view of the Marais. Please note, not all rooms have balconies.
Soon, I’ll be sharing more of the hotels stunning and unique lobby. It’s every Marie Antoinette fans dream come true.

I stayed there years ago (maybe 2006?) and found it lovely. Tiny room, but it felt luxurious because of the decor, staff, and location. A really lovely experience!
