In late June, I very happily had the opportunity to plan a last minute work trip to Paris. Along with a few other meetings, the highlight was a photo shoot for new designer, Laura Egloff. Be on the lookout for her gorgeous debut spring collection next season! During my trip, I met up with friend and fellow Brooklynite Rachel Martino and we enjoyed several obligatory cafe visits for wine, cheese + escargot. We even found time for a little pampering at the gorgeous and eclectic new salon by celebrated colorist Christophe Robin. I’ve been a fan of his products for a while, which make my hair feel incredibly healthy and loved meeting him in person. I’ll share more on the hair treatments, my favorite products and his beautiful new salon very soon. Following our salon visit, we ventured over to the Marais for shopping at Bobbies + my favorite perfumer Francis Kurkdijan’s new boutique. Here’s a bit more from my trip starting with Laura Egloff’s Fantine dress….
My last night was spent dining on the terrace with friends at the chic Hotel Providence Paris. It’s located on a cute cobblestone street bustling with Parisians. I also found time to finally visit Bontemps Paris for sweet treats. I always miss Paris the minute I get home and hoping to return in the Fall. Tourism in Paris is still low due to the sad attacks but I can assure you, I have never felt safer in my favorite city. If you’re thinking of a trip, even just for a long weekend, please visit Paris as they need our support more than ever.
